The Study Program of Doctoral Engineering Science (PSDIT) held its 72nd doctoral promotion on Thursday, 20 June 2024, at the Wismakarma Hall, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, on Jl. P.B. Sudirman Denpasar. Promovenda Sri Widyanti Ginting, S.Kom., M.Cs, with the dissertation titled Digital Trauma Healing Adherence Intervention Using Expert System Method and Social Media Participation to Improve Self-Efficacy received a very satisfactory predicate.
Dr. Sri Widyanti Ginting, S.Kom., M.Cs describes that disasters often cause trauma that affects mental stability. It is believed that trauma victims can overcome their trauma if they receive appropriate trauma-healing treatment. Interviews revealed that victims find this approach unattractive or not always accessible. This study provides a digital trauma healing intervention system called "DITRAHEAL". Based on the developed research and methodology, an expert system is used to determine the most suitable treatment. The level of trauma is initially determined using the validated IES-R questionnaire assessment system. Then, the knowledge base of the expert system is built using hobby analysis and social media approaches in combination with expert analysis. Furthermore, efficacy scores were calculated using the GSES (General Self-Efficacy Scale) methodology, which compares the self-efficacy ratings of victims before and after treatment. Digital trauma healing compliance interventions can be used for trauma healing in trauma victims of natural disasters, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions and reviews have shown improved efficacy scores. This is evidenced by the increase in self-efficacy scores of disaster trauma victims after introducing digital compliance treatment for trauma healing. The mean improvement in efficacy scores for trauma victims of the Ambon earthquake was 34.9%, and for victims of the Mount Sinabung eruption, it was 27.4%.
