63rd Doctoral Promotion

The Study Program of Doctoral Engineering Science (PSDIT) held its 63rd doctoral promotion on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Wismakarma Hall, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, on Jl. P.B. Sudirman Denpasar. Promovendus I Made Dwipa Arta, ST., MT with the dissertation titled Model for Implementation of Building Construction Approvals in the Ravine Border Area in Gianyar Regency received a very satisfactory predicate.

Dr. I Made Dwipa Arta, ST., MT explained that building construction approval is a form of mandatory licensing policy for construction activities, including in the ravine border areas of the Gianyar Regency. Implementation of the Building Approval Policy requires optimal community participation to achieve orderly spatial arrangements while creating buildings that are functional, and harmonious. In addition, this will ensure the safety and engineering reliability of building structures in terms of safety, health, comfort, and convenience, especially in ravine border areas. The results of the study show that the administrative system and information disclosure are the main factors influencing the realization of construction permit implementation in the ravine border area.
