58th Doctoral Promotion

The Study Program of Doctoral Engineering Science (PSDIT) held its 58th doctoral promotion on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the Faculty of Engineering Jl. P.B. Sudirman Denpasar. Promovendus Sutisna, ST., MT with his dissertation titled Implementation of The Markov Method for Convergence Analysis of Multi-Bus Transmission Reliability Values Using The Inclusion-Exclusion Approach received a very satisfactory predicate.

In his presentation, Dr. Sutisna, ST., MT uses an inclusion-exclusion approach to determine reliability values.  The reliability value obtained is the cumulative reliability value of all network paths. Therefore, the inclusion-exclusion method allows for a  more realistic and simpler implementation of complexes. This method uses a mathematical Venn diagram consisting of slices and joins. In other words, the inclusion-exclusion method is applied to the problem of calculating the reliability value of a transmission line.  Meanwhile, The Markov method is applied to the creation of maintenance schedules for each bus, High-Performance endPoint (HPeP), and effective maintenance time intervals as indicators in determining maintenance schedules.
