57th Doctoral Promotion

The Engineering Science Doctoral Study Program (PSDIT) held its 57th doctoral promotion on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Postgraduate Hall, 3rd Floor Postgraduate Building Udayana University, on Jl. P.B. Sudirman Denpasar. Promovenda Rini Srikus Saptaningtyas, ST., MSc with her dissertation titled Community Resilience and Sustainable Survival Strategies in Maintaining Local Wisdom Values in Traditional Sade Residences in Lombok Island received a cum laude predicate.

 In her presentation, Dr. Rini Srikus Saptaningtyas, ST., MSc described that Sade Hamlet is part of the Rembitan Village in Central Lombok Regency, where traditional communities live closely with local culture and intellectual values. and has been designated as a tourist village. The study recommends that market penetration, human resource development, and product diversification strategies should aim to maintain the sustainability of Sade Village's residential resilience. The novelty of this study lies in the togetherness, glorification  (pemole), and adequacy (semaiq) of the community's resilience to maintain their traditional dwellings.
As chairman of the session is the Coordinator of PSDIT, Prof. Dewa Made Priyantha Wedagama, ST., MT., MSc., Ph.D. The promoter, the co-promoters I and II are Prof. Dr. Ir. Syamsul Alam Paturusi, M.S.P., Dr. Ir. N.K. Acwin Dwijendra, ST, MA., SDs, IPU, ASEAN Eng. and Prof. Dr. Ir. I Dewa Gede Agung Diasana Putra, ST, MT., IPU, ASEAN Eng. respectively. Acting as examiners are Prof. Dr. Ir. Ngakan Made Anom Wiryasa, M.T., IPM., Prof. Dr. Ir. I Made Adhika, M.SP., Prof. Dr. Drs. A.A. Bagus Wirawan, SU., Prof. Ir. I Nyoman Arya Thanaya, ME., Ph.D., and Ir. I Gusti Ngurah Anom Rajendra, M.Sc., Ph.D. Meanwhile, academic invitees are Prof. Sugiman, ST., MT., Ph.D (Mataram University)., Ni Made Yudantini, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D, and Dr. Ir. Ni Kadek Astariani, ST., MT., IPM., ASEAN Eng (Ngurah Rai University).
