The Engineering Science Doctoral Study Program (PSDIT) held its 56th doctoral promotion on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Faculty of Engineering Jl. P.B. Sudirman Denpasar. Promovenda Ida Ayu Oka Suwati Sideman., ST., MSc with her dissertation titled Small Island Port Management Model Based on Conflict Elements (Case Study of Gili Indah, North Lombok), received a very satisfactory predicate.
 In her presentation, Dr. Ida Ayu Oka Suwati Sideman., ST., MSc described that the study focuses on the integrated management of small island port systems to improve passenger services. However, this service system creates conflict in the form of being rejected by tourists as ship passengers. As a result, the implementation of the integrated service system has encountered delays and controversy among port users. The Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Mixed Methods Research (MMR) methods were used to analyze passenger satisfaction perceptions and refine quantitative data obtained from passengers with quantitative data obtained from other port stakeholders. This study shows that ports are frequently conflict-prone but are likely to be visited more than twice during a single trip by tourists.  This port therefore has the potential for continuous development.
