47th Doctoral Promotion
The 47th doctoral promotion session was held on Friday, December 23, 2022 in Wiswakarma Hall, Udayana University, by the Doctoral Study Program in Engineering Sciences (PSDIT), Faculty of Engineering. The dissertation's title is Sustainable Raw Water Management Policy in Rural Drinking Water Supply System in Bali Province. The promovendus is Ir. I Gusti Ngurah Kerta Arsana, MT. He completed his studies in 2 years and 4 months and received a cum laude predicate.
In his presentation, Dr. Ir. I Gusti Ngurah Kerta Arsana, MT described that the application of local wisdom Tri Hita Karana greatly determines the sustainability of the management of raw water sources in the rural drinking water supply systems in Bali Province. The Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) was used as the method to analyze the sustainability status of raw water managementfrom the economic, social, ecological, technological and institutional dimensions. An approach to analyze the formulation of raw water management policies in rural water supply systems uses the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method.
The session's chair was Prof. Dewa Made Priyantha Wedagama, ST, MT, MSc, Ph.D., Coordinator of the Doctoral Study Program in Engineering (PSDIT) at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. The promoter is Prof. Ir. I Gusti Bagus Sila Dharma, MT., Ph.D. The co-promoters I and II are Dr. Mawiti Infantri Yekti, ST., MT, and I Putu Gustave Suryantara Pariartha, ST., M.Eng., Ph.D respectively.
